Advisory Team Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Acts as a sounding board for the program coordinator to keep the program from operating in conceptual isolation
  2. Keeps a ‘pulse on the Division’—ensures that the program addresses Division issues and concerns as appropriate
  3. Helps shape POSD programs
  4. Monitors program evaluation
  5. Serves as advocates and ambassadors for the program
  6. Identifies appropriate participants for POSD programs
  7. Interprets professional development needs of Division employees and assists in translating these into appropriate professional development programs & approaches
